Despite their striking colour, female mountain bluebirds are not interested in vanity. When finding a partner, they are more interested in a mate who has made a quality nest in a top location. They disregard any of his other attributes of singing, flying or appearance.
.겉으로 보기엔 화려해도 암컷 파랑새는 허영심엔 관심없다. 짝을 찾을 때 높은 곳에 둥지를 잘 짓는 수컷에 관심을 갖는다. 노래, 비행, 혹은 외모는 신경 안 쓴다.
