Thousands of women stayed away from clubs and bars on Wednesday night and protested in almost 50 locations across the UK, calling for tougher measures on drink spiking and spiking by injection.

Hundreds of dolphins in a rare 'superpod' were spotted along the coast of southern California on October 16.
The superpod spanned at least 1.5 miles wide, according to Jessica Roame, Education Manager for Newport Landing Whale Watching.

New research by Australian scientists has supported the theory that great white sharks do not actively seek out humans as prey.

Scientists may have detected signs of a planet transiting a star outside of the Milky Way, in what could be the first planet ever to be discovered outside our galaxy.⁠
